Original music from UK-based unsigned and independent artists for possible airplay on The Ditch.

If you are a UK-based unsigned artist, band, producer or independent creator, you can send music to The Ditch for possible airplay on our radio stream. Airplay is not guaranteed, but every submission gives us the chance to discover new artists and consider suitable tracks for future programming.

Before you submit

Please check the details below before sending music. The form will ask you to confirm the key points.

Music links

Submissions are made by download link only. Dropbox or OneDrive links are preferred, but Google Drive, WeTransfer or another reliable file sharing link can also be used.

Please make sure the link is accessible and does not require a password, account login or special permission.

File name and metadata
  • The music file should be labelled in this format: Artist - Song Title.
  • The track should include the correct artist name and song title in the metadata.
  • Album art should be embedded in the file or supplied through a link.
  • The track should be a clean radio edit and suitable for broadcast.
Rights and consent

This uploader is for UK-based unsigned artists and recordings that are not registered with PRS, PPL or another collection society which would prevent The Ditch from playing the track under this submission.

You must confirm that you own or control the rights to the track, or have permission from everyone required to submit it.

You must also give The Ditch permission to download, review and play the track on The Ditch radio stream, and agree to tell us if the rights position changes later.

Complete the form below. Your submission will be sent to The Ditch and stored in the website dashboard for review.

The Ditch currently only considers music from artists located in the UK.
Dropbox or OneDrive links are preferred. Google Drive, WeTransfer or another reliable download link can also be used. Please check the link is not private or expired. Your music file should be labelled Artist - Song Title and should include the correct metadata and album art.

Please do not send links which require a password, account login or special permission. If we cannot access the track, we may not be able to consider it for airplay.

Optional. You can include a link to single artwork, artist photos or promotional images if they are not already embedded in the track metadata.

Airplay is not guaranteed. The Ditch may decline submissions which are unsuitable, incomplete, inaccessible, outside the UK, or do not meet broadcast standards.

What happens next?

Once submitted, your track details will be reviewed by The Ditch. Suitable tracks may be considered for future airplay on the radio stream.

We may not be able to reply to every submission, but the information you provide helps us properly review the track, check the rights position and understand who is behind the music.
